Identification of Influential Geomorphologic Parameters on Runoff Characteristics of the Thuthapuzha River Basin in Kerala, India

Aims: Geomorphological parameters are signature for the conversion of rainfall into runoff. The morphometric analysis using GIS gives platform deriving geomorphological parameter river basin. Due to intercourse between stream network and landscape, driving force For finding which is more significant contribution runoff, statistical better solution. morphological watershed derived then use landform equation getting parameters. Derived subjected factor Minitab 18 software.
 Place Duration Study: Study conducted on Thuthapuzha River basin tributary Bharathapuzha located in Kerala, India has been selected it Department Soil water Conservation Engineering, Kelappaji College Agricultural Engineering (KCAET), Tavanur, June 2017 July 2018.
 Methodology: From seventeen Micro-watershed analysis. Interpretation loadings, communalities, variance, % score gibes influencing runoff.
 Results: total percentage variance explained by all factors about 83.9%, a good approach. Runoff exhibits highest 37% among each factor. correlation coefficient obtained runoff length overland flow, constant channel maintenance Total three 11.247 where 5.192. Highest from flow having 0.190 followed elongation ratio, form 0.165 0.152 respectively can be used as independent variable case regression models.
